Last Sunday September 1st, just returned from a nice supper, I noticed a satellite in a probably sun synchronous orbit near star pi Herculis. The satellite had the same magnitude as the star, 3.1 (according to Guide 9). Later I was able to identify this object. It was ACS 3. Observation time 2024-03-01 20:26:46. I did not follow it so I could not determine whether it was variable .
