Definitely not as happy as I'd like with my progress, but best guess is probably 15593 and 25919. Was able to simulate an approach of 3km at the right altitude and time, and they're both large, uncontrolled bodies. Would definitely appreciate confirmation or a better idea if anyone else is looking into this as well. ________________________________ From: Michael R Thompson Sent: Monday, September 17, 2018 4:20:55 PM To: seesat-l_at_satobs.org Subject: Tracking down close approach objects from Sept 17 Naturally given that the identity of the two objects weren't released, I'm looking into digging up what they could be based on the approxinate altitude and projected close approach time. Is anyone else looking into this? I've got it narrowed down quite a bit based on altitude alone and my separation code is churning away on what's left. Of course this is all assuming that they're in the catalog.
