I'm not sure what it was but it seems to fit. First point I observed a sort of flare. I scanned for about 40 min. before catching it. It appeared at first very dim then brightened, flared, then faded out over several seconds. Second & third points I noticed it at about the max of its flare. An alldat search showed no strays in the areas of observation. The search was low elevation, 18-19d with limiting magnitude varying from 9.5 to 10.3. USE at your own risk.

(Fourty minute Plane search for 11852 without result. Observed numerous strays.)
