I looked for further flashes from Cosmos 2217 several times but no luck however at 04:51:55 +/- 3 sec 24 Sept UTC i saw a bright flash just below Alkaid, equal to or slightly brighter in mag. I looked for the object with my 10x50s but i couldn't find it. Then at 04:53:35 i saw another flash, est mag 3, above the cup of Ursa Major and was able to track this object for a little bit to see that it was heading South. The first object i ID'd as Rubin 2 #27605 02058A although the object is small. The second object i have as DMSP B5C-04 #07816 75043A.
