I have tested a new lens (f=4.5 mm, f/1.4) with my Mintron video camera. Field of view is about 70 x 56 degrees. Many satellites, stars to mag 6 and even the brighter parts of the milky way were visible. IRS-P2 (1994-068A, 23323) showed naked eye flashes at about 20:01 UTC (FP 11.8 seconds). An image is at: http://home.t-online.de/home/R.Kracht/wideangl.htm Later, I recorded three bright flashes from Raduga 33 before it left the field of view. The flashes were at 2003 Sep 13 21:55:15.5 UTC 21:55:48.8 21:56:22.1 FP 33 seconds Rainer Rainer Kracht Elmshorn, Germany Station 5005 53.7695N 9.6626E 9m Potsdam Datum 53.7679N 9.6614E 47m WGS84 R.Kracht@t-online.de ----------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from SeeSat-L, send a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@satobs.org List archived at http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
