I have been wonder for awhile, if the flaring I am observing from the Boeing HS702 geo sat's, is being caused by there antenna.
I can see Galaxy 3C ( 27445 ) on the tv screen, but it's got no solar concentrators. It's faint, but I can see it.
Depending on how the satelite's antenna are pointed, and the size of them, would to me cause a difference in the Magnitude of the flare.
Now to go hide, before my fellow sat observer's come after me, saying I am nuts.
