Hi Thomas I see no reason for anyone to be cross with anyone in the discussion about prediction programs - I certainly am NOT! I personally welcome such discussion. Most of the software floating about now was based on the SGP4 and SDP4 models given in a paper which is now very obsolete and contained quite a few errors. In addition many authors made changes to the original software and I understand that even SPACETRACK no longer uses it so it is worthwhile knowing about any possible errors and how/where they might arise. I look forward to the first program that comes out that uses the latest SGP4/SDP4 code that was put on the Internet in August 2006.
