    Hi Gerhard

Yes , whilst appreciating the station was in free drift when I saw it last
night ( Thats why I wanted to image it , even though it was low in the sky )
, what I cant make out is the effect free drift had on its attitude.

Perhaps Mike or Phil could simulate this for us.

To me there's no doubt that its the truss that creates this brilliant white
effect..plus , now , the recently added earth facing radiator at P3/P4.The
orange depends on how illuminated the main panels are....and now we have
two sets of arrays , there's more chance of seeing the orange "glow".

So the question is I suppose , when in free drift , does the complex simply
carry on the way it was at the point of entering free drift , which means
the panels lose any sun pointing ability...or in addition does it slowly
rotate ...if so about which axis ?

    John
