The dawn was perfect to see the latest Shuttle and tank, if the launch had taken place :-( I watched unsuccessfully for 79-50A for about 5 mins in a very bright sky. TiPS was clearly visible in a dark sky, and it passed very close to the 2000.0 N Pole. David.
