    Hi all,

The automatic docking of the Progress M1-4 vehicle to the ISS using the KURS
system did not work. At 100 meters, this system was not able to acquire the
signal from the Zarya module and Progress was oscillating quite a lot as seen in
the images transmitted live from a camera on the vehicle.

At 03:02 UT, Gidzenko took over the controls and tried a manual docking but was
disturbed by sunlight getting directly in the Progress camera used to acquire
the docking target. At 5 meters from ISS at 03:09 UT, Progress stopped than
backed away to about 35 m and stayed there.

Right now, they intend to manually dock the vehicle after sunset occuring at
    03:55 UT.
