Gordon, as I'm sure many other people will point out, the vehicle that flew 25 flights within the atmosphere, as an aircraft, was not a spaceworthy Buran but merely an atmospheric test vehicle. The spacecraft Buran vehicle was only launched once, on an Energiya rocket, into orbit, and did not carry a crew, so the earlier poster is quite correct (and in general I guess when we talk about Discovery's number of flights, we're not counting cross-country trips on the back of the 747...)
