Hi all, The stray in the same image as IGS 1B in an image of yesterday, turns out to be the Cosmos 1833 r/b, 87-027B, #17590. Space Track has a TLE for an epoch within an hour of my observation (elset 06130.94435456), so naturally I compared. Space-Track policies prohibit me to mention analytical results, so I'll just say I was very happy with the result. Even though I feel for the first point it is just a lucky shot, because the trail startpoint is not so unambiguous (the end, the second point, is unambiguous however) Points obtained: 17590 87 027B 4353 F 20060510213221100 17 75 1500077+663530 56 S+025 10 17590 87 027B 4353 F 20060510213231800 17 75 1506583+614420 56 S+025 10 - Marco :-) ----- Dr Marco Langbroek - SatTrackCam Leiden, Cospar 4353 Leiden, the Netherlands. 52.15412 N, 4.49081 E (WGS84), +0 m ASL SatTrackCam: http://home.wanadoo.nl/marco.langbroek/satcam.html Station (b)log: http://sattrackcam.blogspot.com Atom RSS: http://sattrackcam.blogspot.com/atom.xml e-mail: sattrackcam@wanadoo.nl ----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Frequently Asked Questions, SeeSat-L archive: http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
