Iridium 11 (25578, 1998-074B) evidently took over from Iridium 23 (24906, 1997-043D) in November 2010. At the start on August 2011, Iridium 11 was still occupying that position. However, a few days later, Iridium 11 was moved around the plane to take over in the position of Iridium 26 (24903, 1197-043A). This suggests that - Iridium 11 is fully functional - Iridium 23 retains some functionality - Iridium 26 is probably the satellite reported in a recent Iridium filing as having failed in August 2011. Observations of all 3 of these satellites are very welcome. I have updated my Iridium Constellation Status page at http://www.rod.sladen.org.uk/iridium.htm _______________________________________________ Seesat-l mailing list http://mailman.satobs.org/mailman/listinfo/seesat-l
