While waiting for a different sat to pass by, I noticed a nice flashing satellite. I ran a check, to see which one it was. It was Ariane 5, catalog number 29275. Observed flashing to the 10th mag at 8:56 UTC ( Aug 5 ) Might be hard to see, in this video http://www.kfetter.com/satvideo/2008/AUG/29275.wmv Was over 20,000 km away at the time.
