Chris -----Original Message----- From: Noisydog8@aol.com [mailto:Noisydog8@aol.com] Sent: 27 August 2001 04:45 To: Chris.Peat@heavens-above.com Subject: satellite transit At 21:54 on 8/26/01 I saw a satellite transit across the moon while using a telescope at about 100x. It looked like the hubble in shape and went very fast, so i only got a quick glimpse. The satellite was completely dark and not visible after the transit, and it was not an airplane. Could you tell me what satellite it was? I live in Stirling New Jersey. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe from SeeSat-L by sending a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@lists.satellite.eu.org http://www2.satellite.eu.org/seesat/seesatindex.html _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp ----------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe from SeeSat-L by sending a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@lists.satellite.eu.org http://www2.satellite.eu.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
