Sorry, let's make that 7 degrees shift WEST in azimuth from 0505 to
    0511 on 2007 Apr 28

Looking at an inverted chart for my scope, sorry. DL

       Hi Dan-

We have been using the latest TLE's from Space-Track to point the
dish, and they have always worked. The dish has a really tight beam
(only about 10 km wide at MAST's orbit), so the TLE's must be pretty
good. Space Command also reports that their high-precision classified
TLE's for MAST give very good prediction of its motion.

     thanks,
     Rob

       Hi All,

I am using Starry Night to project the orbit of MAST based on Heavens
Above's TLE. H-A pass is about 0508 UT.

When I compare the tracks between 0505 UT and 0511, there is a 7
degree shift in the path, east in azimuth.

If the tether is deployed, is it likely the drag has caused a lower
orbit and even earlier arrival than minus 4 minutes?

     Cheers,

       Still no sign of MAST

Tonight I used a 4.5 degree FOV , 7 second exposures using Eta Leo as
    a
     guide star.
These settings , despite the bright Moon gave me mag 8 or
    better........but
, still no sign of MAST
