Hi Scott,

You've come to the right place.  All you need to do is provide
the date, time and direction of your observation, and many
of the folks here (including myself) can tell you what you
likely observed.  Alternately, you can check the Heavens-Above
website or run one of the many shareware prediction programs
(e.g. SkyMap, Quicksat, etc.)  Some of these are available at
Mike McCants' website:
