I was alerted to a nice sequence of 8 images (last two containing only one of the two objects), both with low angular speed. One is flashing smoothly, with a period of about 85s, the other steady. With astrometry.net converting a composite image to FITS format I obtained the following IOD positions: 88888 13 792A 9919 G 20130929205924000 48 25 0033350+375400 55 E 88889 13 792B 9919 G 20130929205924000 48 25 0033350+375400 55 E 88888 13 792A 9919 G 20130929210725000 18 25 0048850+423000 55 S 88889 13 792B 9919 G 20130929210725000 18 25 0053480+405000 55 S but I find no good match with elsets from 2013-09-25 (SpaceTrack) and 09-25 (Mike McCants) The pseudo site 9919 is "9919 AsN 59.49 17.35 40. AstroNet bjorsa Enköping" in my STATIONS.IN Using Scott Campbell's ELFIND.5 to get circular fits I obtained orbits at about 20000 km range: Molniya type 1 88888U 13 729B 13272.88015046 0.00000073 00000-0 50000-4 0 09 2 88888 67.9503 341.1566 0002564 281.5879 130.7766 2.13276021 09 NavStar type 1 88889U 13 729B 13272.88015046 0.00000073 00000-0 50000-4 0 00 2 88889 55.5560 323.8155 0002158 277.8411 142.4063 2.00542241 08 They can certainly be improved, at least using more reasonable i and e for object 88888 !
