Hi All I've made a few casual visual observations of USA245 over the past few nights and have been struck that every time I've cared to look she always seems to flare at least once and sometimes more. So this night, I observed with my still camera and was treated to a brilliant reddish flare somewhere around magnitude -1. The image was recorded September 3rd, 2013 at 05:14:28 +/- 5 seconds, my camera's clock is not that accurate and I wasn't attempting positional observations visually. An 80mm/f1.4 lens at f2.4 was used with 10 second exposure at ISO 800.
