    I agree with you, William. When this change was put into effect years
    ago, it basically killed my growing active interest in satellite
    observing.
    
    I used to enjoy loading the entire elset into pass prediction software
    in 'live' mode and trying to nab as many sats as I could with my
    telescope.
    
    I was even going to learn to make 'proper' observations and become a
    contributer here.
    
    Now have to satisfy myself with reading what others do here, and the
    occasional ISS or Iridium pass predicted by Heavens-Above.
    
    Admittedly, there's not much room for argument. Either you accept or
    you don't. The only argument, and I think most agree, is trying to
    control the data is pointless. But hey, this is the USGov we're talking
    about, right? It doesn't have to make sense.
