What these numbers mean: http://www.satobs.org/position/IODformat.html ------------------------------------------------------------------------- A small BWGS meeting of Leo Barhorst, Bram Dorreman and me at Leo's boat in Almere was concluded with a joint observing session. The sky was not optimal, especially later in the evening, but we managed to see a number of objects from a small green near Leo's boat. The evening started with a nice -3.5 flare of Iridium 80 at 60 degrees altitude in one of the Cygnus wingtips. Bram and Leo looked for the newly launched Meteor objects, and observed a flasher. Apart from some minor things like track predictions that came out slightly wrong because my software was still set for the coordinates of Leiden :-p , all went fine and it was fun to observe with Leo and Bram, which also allowed me to demonstrate my photographic technique and the astrometry done on them. I have data on the USA 144 decoy (99-028C) as well but still have to measure these. - Marco ----- Dr Marco Langbroek - SatTrackCam Leiden, the Netherlands. e-mail: sattrackcam@wanadoo.nl Cospar 4353 (Leiden): 52.15412 N, 4.49081 E (WGS84), +0 m ASL Cospar 4354 (De Wilck): 52.11685 N, 4.56016 E (WGS84), -2 m ASL SatTrackCam: http://home.wanadoo.nl/marco.langbroek/satcam.html Station (b)log: http://sattrackcam.blogspot.com ----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Frequently Asked Questions, SeeSat-L archive: http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
