The sky at my place cleared up just in time to see the HTV pass about 2
degrees above Jupiter at 18:17:58 UTC, 10-SEP-09. (The time might have been
18:18:58 instead - I may have messed up starting my stopwatch!).

Despite the low 14 deg elevation the object was quite bright at about mag 0
and holding steady for the next half minute that I followed it. It had a
    somewhat reddish color.

Looks like I got the perigee wrong in my attempt yesterday to come up with
initial TLEs for HTV but it was good enough to find it anyway.

Looking forward to another pass with shadow ingress on the next revolution.
