I had aimed at TURKSAT 1B ( 23200 ), to check up on it, but I was rewarded with flashing from GOES 9 ( 23581 ) I observed it between 1:50 to 2:00 UTC ( Sept 30 ), when I went to observe something else. One of the flashes was in the area around 23 h 14 m R.A -10 deg 40 min Dec GOES 9 gave a flash every approx 130 seconds, the flashes where mag 8 are brighter. http://www.kfetter.com/satvideo/flashing-geosat/23581.wmv I also observed that, oh so nice flashing Zenit 2 R/B ( SL-16 R/B ) http://www.kfetter.com/satvideo/other/31793.wmv It's slowed down a small amount, since I observed it in July http://www.kfetter.com/satvideo/070107/31793.wmv Kevin Ask a question on any topic and get answers from real people.
