Hi all, KH USA 186 (05-042A, 28888) just made a beautiful slow flare here high in the northwest, lasting some tens of seconds and reaching at least mag. -2. I first saw it around the actual brigthness peak (21:13:06 +/- 3s UTC): when I looked up from triggering the camera it already was very bright, then started to fade while the camera opened. This was the first time I saw it give off such a long flare, instead of the very short glints I had seen it give off so far.
