Dear list, While walking the dog tonight (030929) I saw a bright meteor at approx. 21:10 UTC (+/- 5 min) moving from the planet Mars towards the southern horizon (so the direction of movement was North - South). The brightness was around mag -3 and the velocity was low for a meteor; it lasted for about 5 seconds. I wonder if this might have been a satellite reentry ? My position is: Loon op Zand (Netherlands) lat. 51° 37' 34" N (51.6261° ) long. 05° 05' 07" E (05.0852° ) elev. +10 m above sealevel Best regards, Wim Holwerda ----------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from SeeSat-L, send a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@satobs.org List archived at http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
