Notes:
~~~~~~
(1) Still have problem with tracking mount loosing azimuth position which
slows operations somewhat as I have to reset the mount on a known
bright star before every satellite transit . Changed lubrication grease
but no effect so looks like something more serious.
(2) USA 144 appears to have changed optical characteristics. Formerly had
a long period variation but tonight was rapidly flickering the entire
pass.
(3) First hours tracking was difficult as I had to track blind on
predictions
and occasionally see the satellite through thin cloud or in a clear
spot so I had to get positions when I saw the satellite.
(4) Weather bad at present - my rainy season has finally struck but about
two months late!
Cheers
Greg
