With the recent apparent discovery of the Apollo 12 3rd stage, I was
reminded of a previous observation of what was thought to be a Saturn 5 3rd
stage. I think it was still in solar orbit and was observed from earth
optically. Does anyone remember about when this happened or any details? I
was wondering if this might correlate to the object captured into earth
orbit recently.
