    Dear all,
After some frustrating failures, I finally observed XMM NEWTON last night
from a location south of Frankfurt, Germany.
Much to my surprise, it was quite faint (about 10 mag) and anything less
than a small telescope wont do the job!
The predictions were based on the most recent OIG elements. The track was
quite good, but you should take into account for time offsets of up to +- 2 min!
(as I found out with kind support from the ESA orbit guys)
