Hi all, > A predicted -4 flare by Iridium 2 ? #25527 98066 was a no show despite > acceotable viewing conditions for a flare. > > Iridium 2 ? > 1 25527U 98066A 00271.53383499 .00003912 00000-0 49199-3 0 3695 > 2 25527 85.5676 281.6400 0013186 351.9496 8.1515 14.81772860102767 I also failed to see a predicted mag. -5 flare from Iridium 2 at the weekend and thought this may be a sign they are starting to be de-orbited. I see on VSOHP, however, that this is listed as a spare and is in a parking orbit a 100 km or so below the operational one. I have removed it as a reliable flarer from Heavens-Above predictions.
