We've had a hot dry hazy summer with only three rains since May until a month ago, when began a full month of clouds and rain, excepting a period of three days around, of course, the full moon. Hence my absence. Then last night a front moved through and the skies cleared up in time to see Mstar 3 Centaur Rocket very close to on time using 38-day old elements. Unfortunately I only got one position in Lepus in the south and then, incredibly, lost the sucker. I guess that's what a month of no practice does for you! Quite bright at mag 6 or so, flashing regularly at intervals of a second or less.
