    Sep 21 a clear night.
The next morning I could observe a full cycle of Superbird A
flashes. Saturday morning there was some haze and thin clouds,
but the first part of the cycle could be observed. Some faint
flashes were missed. At the start 1 flash not timed. Superbird
is moving to the southwest and lower to the horizon. Just a few
days remain here to observe it. America has to do the follow up.

A clear evening and morning to observe.
At 18:48 UT I spotted a flashing satellite to the south of Altair
    (RA=20:00 d=0) that moved towards Cygnus (RA=21:00 d=+40). Using
Skymap it turned out to be Cosmos 1354 Rk, 1982- 37 B. Just after
the start it was flashing with 5.5 sec; from 1990 to 1995 it slowed
down from 30 to 55 seconds. The last entry in PPAS was in 1996 April,
when it was reported S, 5. Has to be watched !!
