    Hello everybody!

A friend reported me about a red flare in the sky a year ago. This
sighting took place on July 25, 1999, 21:50 LCL (GMT +2.00) in the town
of Los Barrios (Spain - 36.1830N, 5.5000W), in the neighbours of Strait
of Gibraltar. The observation data are as follows:

    Inclination: 30 degrees
    Azimuth: 95 degrees approx.
    Magnitude: about -6

Do you know about similar sightings?

Thank you very much in advance for your replies.

    Best wishes,
    Oscar.-
