    For the uninitiated:

Eurosom = European Satellite Observers Meeting

I went to Eurosom 2 in Ghent in 1996 and Eurosom 3 in Edinburgh in 1998 and
was looking forward to an excuse to go to Europe in 2000. They are
interesting meetings and well worth the effort.

It looks like Eurosom 4 may be falling through the cracks.

I have two thoughts. I may be able to organize something in May or June at
Herstmonceux Castle in England, former home of the Royal Greenwich
Observatory and still the home of the Satellite Laser Ranging station. It
just happens to be owned by the University I work for. :-)

A second possibility is a North American venue in the spring. If I could
twist Ted Molczan's arm as a co-conspirator, Toronto might be a possibility.
I'd suggest Kingston but it is not the easiest place to get to.

Is there any interest in either site?

    Brian
