I've had that problem for several weeks, but succeeded sometimes.

I think the problem is that it takes too long to login (or start
a transfer). When I use FTP Explorer, I never succeed because
it doesn't seem to obey my increased timeout.

With Internet Explorer I succeeded in about  one out of three attempts.
