The launch date and time should be available. The U.S. warns the Russians
of pending launches. If you could get a copy of that message, you'd be in

I'd start by contacting Public Affairs offices at the U.S. Space Command HQ
at Peterson AFB in Colorado and the Ballistic Missile Defense Organization
in Washington, D.C. The person who probably knows is the military officer
tasked with making sure that the U.S. complies with international treaties
that the U.S. is a party to. This person would be at U.S. Space Command HQ.

I did an active duty tour at Beale AFB many years ago. One of the
highlights of the tour was walking up to the PAVE PAWS antenna. It was
pretty impressive. It also generates a lot of radio interfenence. When you
listened to an FM broadcast station, you'd
"" It would affect radio receivers
for several miles.
