On Thursday night there was a dramatic pass of Cosmos 1220 (12054). The
predicted magnitude was about 3.3, but it was some 4 magnitudes brighter
than this, between 0 and -1. More yellowish than nearby Deneb and Vega.
Worth watching; I'll certainly keep an eye out for it.
On time according to this elset from mccants.tle, within 1-2 seconds
anyway.
