dear friends,
yesterday evening I watched my first satellite
of which I made prediction charts.
It was cosmos 405

Time(gmt) Az El H Range RA/2000 D/2000 Hdg Vrt Mag
07:25:39PM 181.7 22.2 U 01311 19:41.8 -28d28 013 002 +4.5
07:27:00PM 176.5 42.8 U 00847 20:00.7 -07d49 013 357 +3.5
07:28:20PM 102.4 78.9 L 00616 20:45.4 +36d10 017 290 +2.7
07:29:41PM 018.9 43.8 D 00840 00:18.5 +75d12 065 259 +3.6
07:31:01PM 013.6 22.9 D 01301 05:18.5 +69d55 138 328 +4.7
 Cosmos 405 =1971 028 =N05117 D/S=0.57

It's magnitude was about 4.5 and it passed near gamma cygni.
Yesterday I made manual calculation to find it, using
datas from garching and charts by way of an astronomy program.
At the moment I'm preparing charts for tonight using
the two line element sets, for a list of bright satellites.
I put it on spysat but there is a little problem with datas
I says "checksum failure on line...possible data corruption
satellite..." I deleted all datas with this error, but
I don't understand which kind of problem is this.
It seems an error into the code of the datas security.

what is it ?

thanks in advantage.
