Jay Respler mentioned the new version of Quicksat. I *immediately*
downloaded it. I'm sure many users of Mike McCant's Quicksat are
very grateful for the removal of the 2000-element restriction.
Thanks Mike!
I didn't notice right away that the new QUICKSAT.ZIP file does not include
a QUICKS87.EXE executable. Since my .BAT files were executing that
file, I was still executing the old executable until I figured out what
I was doing wrong. I know, read the %$#%$# manual; I was in too much
in a hurry. By the way, if you don't have a math coprocessor, use the
QUICKNCP.EXE executable instead of QUICKSAT.EXE. The new naming scheme
makes more sense, since most folks I hope have coprocessors by now.
I've changed my .BAT files to use QUICKSAT.EXE, and added the new line
to my .CTL files to enable more than 2000 elsets. It worked great!
Ahhh, all is well with the world.
