Subject: [IOTAoccultations] Phobos-Soil ephemeris extended on JPL Horizons site Disregard my comments about limitations on the end time for input on the JPL Horizons Web site for the Phobos-Soil spacecraft given in my last message; topocentric ephemerides can now be generated for many days after launch. David ______ Jon Giorgini wrote: >Is it possible to extend the trajectory file? The spacecraft may be >visible to optical telescopes for another 3 days or so after launch. Natan, Disregard this request, it is no longer necessary. Boris pointed me to "phsrm_111109_111109_120910_nom3.bsp", which extends the trajectory prediction to 2012 and Mars arrival. The extension was just installed in Horizons.
