A Belgian meteorobserver sent me an all-sky image on which a track was found similar to those on Wolfgang’s images. I was able to identify the source of these flashes: 75007A Cosmos 706. Time of recording was 2011-10-03 from 20:53:13 till 20.53.43. With six flashes it might be a flash period between 4.3 and 6.0 seconds, averaging 5.1 seconds. This is similar to Wolfgang’s statement of: The sat rotates about 10 times per minute.
