    USSTRATCOM deserves most of the credit, for routinely tracking many thousands of objects, and making
    most of the information available to the public, through their excellent web site, Space Track
    (www.space-track.org). Mike McCants and I have written programs that quickly run through the orbital
    elements of all known objects, and report those that passed a specified position in the sky, within
    a given radius and time period. Then its just a matter of checking the output for the most likely
    candidates. The more precise the observation, the greater the probability of making an ID.
