We just watched Iridium 55 and 95 flare within a minute of each other at ~20:10 local in the same patch of sky as seen from San Antonio, TX, 29.548 N, 98.558 W. While the Heavens Above predictions had 55 at magnitude -8 and 95 at -3, 55 was bright but soft and 95 was much brighter, almost glaring. Perhaps a tweak to the antenna/mirror orientation model is needed? ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Frequently Asked Questions, SeeSat-L archive: http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
