FYI, NPR Radio station WAMU (88.5 on the dial here) in Washington DC
will air a show about Solar Power Sats at 5 pm on Saturday on All Things
Considered. The website will carry the program later:
    http://www.wamu.org/programs/atc/ or
    http://www.npr.org/templates/rundowns/rundown.php?prgId=2

I suspect Nell Boyce, the producer, will be a little bit skeptical
judging by my conversation with her.

"Power from space? Pentagon likes the idea"; "Frontline
soldiers could use energy beamed from orbit, study says":

"A network of satellites would be constructed in space
with arrays of lightweight mirrors extending for several
    miles (kilometers) on each side."

    Something to look forward to?
