Hi: It looks like KSC is launching the first of three Wideband Global SATCOM (aka Wideband Gapfiller ) tonight (11 Oct 2007) that will have 39 channels each 125 MHz wide, i.e. more bandwidth than all the other sats in orbit. http://www.afspc.af.mil/news/story.asp?id=123070775 I'm guessing it will end up in a geosynchronous orbit around 7.5 deg West, i.e. half way between Iran and the U.S. East coast. Has the final orbit been published? -- Have Fun, Brooke Clarke http://www.PRC68.com http://www.precisionclock.com http://www.prc68.com/I/WebCam2.shtml 24/7 Sky-Weather-Astronomy Cam ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Frequently Asked Questions, SeeSat-L archive: http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
