like mike and others I use a Robic 808, works fine although the other day everything froze (display did not go blank as in dead battery, but all the displays froze). how that could happen is under investigation; meanwhile, I unscrewed the battery lock and refitted the battery and it has been working normally. if battery was "dislocated" unclear how as I did not bump the stopwatch. ref Bjorn's comment re logging, I now mostly use Willie's pip.exe (DOS) on a "dedicated" old DOS box with a trimmed pc clock typical drift < 0.05 s/day which logs all splits to .log text file.
