Today, October 4, marks the 49th anniversary of the launch of the first artifical sputnik of earth. Just a reminder! That's the satellite that started it all. This summer work (>paying< work) piled up, so my project to tabulate earliest-known earth satellite orbits for all catalogued objects is still stalled around the beginning of 1968. But there's a little light at the end of the tunnel coming in November; maybe I'll be able to resume my "walk" then. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Frequently Asked Questions, SeeSat-L archive: http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
