    Hi everyone...

Back on October 12 ISS/Atlantis produced an unexpectedly bright pass over
    the UK
In some parts of the country the flare seemed to be in excess of mag -6.

I have now produced a simple animation of the sequence showing the increase
in brightness from SW to SSE , as seen from my location.
    (Equipment Meade LX90 8 inch telescope/webcam)

To view ( no special sofware required) simply got to

     http://www.satcom.freeserve.co.uk

and click the "ISS/STS flare sequence" block , half way down the page.

    Hope you like it.

    Regards,

    John.
