I was just in time to catch 92-86C in the 8" telescope, running early on Mike McCants' elset of day 02286. The new elset below covers the arc Sep 12-Oct 19. The dawn sky was brilliantly clear, so despite their faintness I was able to see 86-14D and E close to the zenith. They were over a minute late, and must have been manoeuvred (again). It was then fun to glimpse Mars and Mercury with the naked eye low in the ESE. More obs to follow. David.
