    If you note (or memorize) positions relative to a star (~pair or ~field) a
    graphic program like SkyMap is best.
    Use the AllFile Search, with the geo.tle file from Mike or from OIG; or use
    a larger file and set the perigee and range limits in SkyMap.
    
    Don't forget to set the magnitude limit to 16 (to be on the safe side)
    
    You can easily read the satellite ID and predicted time of your observed
    positions by positioning the crosshair and pressing "t".
    You can alternatively use the Transit Search to get predicted appulses to a
    star.
