A few obs on a cold and stormy evening. At 18:16 UT I saw ISS low in the west. It was dark orange and mag 3. Towards the zenith it brightend to mag 0 and became more and more white. ISS still got brighter up to mag -3 all the way down to the east where it faded away in the earthshadow and became orange again. But a faint white light remained, it was mag 7, hard to follow further towards the horizon. I presume the Shuttle's payloadbay flootlights were on. 01- 23 B 02-10-09 18:54:53 LB 69.3 0.5 2 34.7 AA, 4->6 Timings: 33.42 35.88 sec. 76- 19 A 02-10-09 18:28:00 LB 88.9 0.2 36 2.47 Ff, 4(7)->i Timings: 4.84 4.93 5.00 4.84 10.02 4.95 5.03 4.85 4.94 2.57 2.41 4.91 4.96 5.02 2.56 2.27 2.69 2.28 2.56 2.41 2.50 2.36 sec. 87- 74 G 02-10-09 18:07:48 LB 110.9 0.5 3 37.0 AA, 4->7 Timings: 36.90 37.74 36.30 sec. 88- 50 A 02-10-09 18:13 LB S, 3 93- 61 A 02-10-09 18:49:56 LB 59.2 0.5 3 19.7 Irr, 4->6 Timings: 18.55 11.41 7.17 10.27 11.80 sec. 99- 25 C 02-10-09 17:57 LB almost S, 5 2002: 460 obs PPAS: 12331 obs Greetings and clear, dark skies Leo Barhorst Medemblik 52.76350 N 5.09114 E 2 m ASL http://www.home.zonnet.nl/leobarhorst/index.html ----------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe from SeeSat-L by sending a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@lists.satellite.eu.org http://www.satellite.eu.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
